Terms of Service
Last updated 13 August 2026. Short version: the guidance is for reflection, your writing stays yours, and you can leave whenever you like.
1. Who we are
Celestial is made by Team Celestial. You can reach us any time at Leonbell101@gmail.com. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You need an account to use Celestial, and you must be 13 or older. Keep your sign-in details to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Give us accurate birth details, because your chart and readings are drawn from them.
3. Guidance is reflective, not professional advice
Daily readings, affirmations, weekly reflections and companion messages are generated for self-reflection and entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and they are not a substitute for a qualified professional. If you are struggling, please talk to a doctor or a local support service.
4. Your writing stays yours
You own everything you write in your diary and questionnaire. You grant us only the narrow permission needed to run the app: to store your writing encrypted and to decrypt it inside your own signed-in requests so we can generate your reading, reflection or companion reply. We do not sell it, publish it, or use it to train third-party models.
5. Fair use
Please don't attempt to break, scrape or reverse-engineer the app, use it to harass anyone, upload unlawful content, or resell access. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Free and paid features
Celestial is currently free. Some features may move behind a subscription in future. If that happens, you'll be told clearly before anything is charged, and paid features will be billed through the App Store or Google Play under their refund rules.
7. Availability
We aim to keep Celestial running smoothly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Astrological data and AI generation depend on third-party services, and the app falls back to cached or curated content when those are unavailable.
8. Ending your use
You can delete your diary at any time from Settings, or ask us to remove your account entirely by emailing Leonbell101@gmail.com. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Celestial is provided as-is and we are not liable for decisions you make based on the guidance it gives. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes
If we change these terms in a meaningful way we'll say so in the app before the change applies. Continuing to use Celestial after that means you accept the updated terms.
11. Your privacy
How we collect, encrypt, use and delete your data is set out in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: your diary and questionnaire answers are encrypted at rest, are read only to generate your own guidance, and are never sold.
12. Third-party services
Celestial relies on hosting and database infrastructure (Lovable Cloud) and on Google Gemini for generated text. If you install from the App Store or Google Play, that store's own terms also apply to the download, any future purchase and their refund process. Apple and Google are not responsible for Celestial or for supporting it — we are.
13. Contact and disputes
Email Leonbell101@gmail.com with any problem and we'll try to resolve it directly — that's almost always faster than anything formal. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you have where you live.
